I decided I wanted to try some shaders, so I downloaded OptiFine and extracted it so I could place it in the mods folder. I recently got Forge for Minecraft 1.12.2 to try out some mods, and so far it's been pretty good. Okay, so, I've looked a lot of places and none of them describe the problem I'm having, so I came here as a last ditch effort to figure this out before giving up.
